I hope that you are staying safe and healthy.

Rumi wrote, "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there."

We need to harness the recent collective focus that our country has been blessed with to create liberty and justice for all. If we act without judgment and practice empathy, we will arrive in that field. It is the field of understanding.

I've got a few suggestions for us to move forward this month, both for fun and for growth. I have a little something for you to do every day of the week while we continue to stay at home as much as possible to flatten the curve. Take a look, I hope that you find value in it. We'll get through this together and emerge stronger as a result.

If you are looking for a few things to do this weekend, you might want to start today, Friday, the 3rd, with Elton John as he launches his 6 week Classic Concert Serieswith the digital premiere of Live at the Playhouse Theatre, Edinburgh and benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund. The performance will only be available for 72 hours!

All weekend long, you can enjoy the Essence Festival- Unstoppable , a virtual benefit series to recover, sustain, and thrive! You can enjoy a variety of music, entertainment, empowerment and culture!

Also tonight, you'll find me and the girls watching Lin-Manual Miranda's Tony Award winning musical Hamilton , which will be streaming for the first time ever! Complete with the original cast, I'm not throwing away my shot to see this, and it will be streaming on Disney+ .

Tomorrow, you can check out the Spring Awakening Music Festival which has gone digital and global with a new virtual experience on the 4th and 5th with 22 artists confirmed to perform from major national cities all for your viewing pleasure and to benefit MusiCares !

Also on the 4th, A Boston Pops Salute to Our Heroes will be paying tribute to the frontline workers and honoring those who have lost their lives during the current health crisis. Join an all-star lineup including Queen Latifah, Andy Grammar, Leslie Odom, Jr. & Arlo Guthrie for great music and hot fireworks!
