The St. Charles Regional College Fair is coming to St. Charles Community College on Thursday evening. The fair, held in the College Center gym, is for current high school students who are interested in speaking with college representatives from throughout the United States to learn more about each college and decide which one is right for them.

On Thursday you can vote for your favorite tacos/margaritas from local restaurants at theTaco Rita showdown! Taco-Rita is a part of the Kitchen Sink Series - Sponsored by Mosby Building Arts.

Hispanic Festival, Inc. will be turning up the heat for the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festivalat Soulard Park on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is the largest Hispanic celebration in the St. Louis area. The annual event will feature Hispanic Folkloric dancers, over 70 booths, and the Los Ninos Kids Corner with piñatas and traditional Hispanic games.

Starting on Friday, you can join me as the convergence of Science Art, Music Science and Tech will be upon as The Cortex Innovation Community will host the Murmuration Festival, a 3 Day event that you won't want to miss! Featuring influential speakers, national thought-leaders, maker expo, juried art competition, cutting-edge music performances, and more.

On Friday night, you can so long to summer and say aloha to a night filled with grass skirts, torch lights, city lights and tasty bites at the End of Summer Luau! Celebrate summer's end rooftop style at three sixty with signature cocktails and more! Plus, 10% of the proceeds with be donated to Wings of Hope.

Hopefully you will tell your friends that I will be teaching The Keys to Homeownershipon Saturday morning in the middle of the region at the Brentwood Community Center. This free monthly seminar is designed to educate people about the process of achieving homeownership.Real Estate Solutions believes that educating our clients is the best way to ensure that they are prepared to make good real estate decisions.

Can't make it to Munich this year? Head over to the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery starting on Saturday to celebrate Oktoberfest with weeks full of traditional Oktoberfest festivities. Throughout the month, visitors are invited to enjoy a variety of German-style beers and seasonal favorites, paired with traditional German fare such as bratwursts and Bavarian pretzels. Visitors can also participate in traditional German games and enjoy live German music and entertainment.

Also this weekend, you can enter the dazzling world of Disney magic LIVE ON ICE! Rev up for non-stop fun with four of your favorite Disney stories at Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment. From wheels to waves, icy wonderlands to infinity and beyond, your family's favorite Disney moments come to life at Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment at the CHAIFETZ ARENA.

Urban Chestnut Brewery is the place to be if you are looking for another Oktoberfest celebration, at the Grove Brewery & Bierhall. You'll enjoy food offerings including giant pretzels, brats, currywurst, roasted chicken, and frikadellen; competitions like Masskrugstemmen (stein-holding contests) and Fingerhackeln (finger wrestling); and music provided round-the-clock by The Bolzen Beer Band, Über Cool, The Deutschmeister Brass Band, Dave Hylla's Good Times Band, The Wendl Band, and Larry Hallar, there's truly something for everyone!

If you just want to get away from it all, plan to camp out in Benton, Illinois for the Sugar Creek Music Festival, which will feature one of my favorite St. Louis bands, Aaron Kamm and the One Drops, along with a dozen other bands, vendors, fire performers, workshops, yoga instructors, artists, canoes, zip-lines and much more.

It's worth repeating that this event is all weekend long! Located throughout theCortex campus, the Murmuration features influential speakers, national thought-leaders, cutting-edge music performances, maker expo, juried art competition, and more. Don't miss it!

Also on Saturday, the Repertory Theatre's 50th anniversary with be upon us with special guest Bernadette Peters.

Strange Folk Festival, St. Louis's most popular indie craft show for over 10 years, is making a home in Lafayette Square on Saturday and Sunday. The festival features 200 curated artists/crafters/makers from all over the country, 10 live bands, whimsical installations and DIY activities that attract over 30,000 participants.

Also on Saturday, the 6th Annual installment of "100 Thousand Poets & Musicians for Change - St. Louis"! An official offshoot of the world-wide events created by Michael Rothenberg and Terri Carrion, "100,000 Poets & Musicians for Change - St. Louis" is a blending of the largest poetry and music events in history, with hundreds of countries around the world participating in umbrella events.

Art in the Park has quickly become a favorite venue for artists, and art-loving (and buying) crowds have discovered this hidden jewel of an art fair in the middle of the city. On Saturday, the fair offers everything from jewelry, pottery, glass and textiles to mixed media, wood, sculpture, painting and photography. Most artists are local, with a few from Illinois and other parts of Missouri.

Join me on the terrace at Pere Marquette Lodge for a German Beer Garden. This event will feature live accordion music, Erdinger Beer and, of course, bratwurst! No reservations are needed but seating is limited so feel free to bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets just in case. Come spend a relaxing day filled with entertainment, a gorgeous view, tasty beer, awesome food and an ambiance that cannot be found anywhere else in St. Louis.

Come explore the cutting edge of corporate innovation at the 2016 Innovation by Design Summit, powered by Maritz, to be held at St. Louis Union Station on Tuesday and Wednesday. The event will converge representatives from major corporations, start-ups, and universities to explore the unique intersection of business innovation and design thinking.

Join us on for the Best of Missouri Market starting on Friday. More than 120 food producers and crafters offer baked goods, fresh and dried flowers, herbs, handcrafted items, baskets, wooden toys, custom jewelry and more. Also, enjoy music and a kids' corner with crafts and fall activities. Outdoors under tents, rain or shine.

First Launched in 2007, Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival includes over 30 artists representing the genres of roots, blues, gospel, country, folk, bluegrass, rock, and soul. The line up includes international, national, regional, and local artists. This festival takes place in Columbia, MO on Friday.

On Thursday and Friday, you can grab a bite for lunch while enjoying Dine on Dance, an outdoor performance featuring site-specific dances by local choreographers. This week's performance will be in Strauss Park in Grand Center.

Perhaps you can check out the play Once this weekend. I loved the movie, might enjoy the play. It's the tale of a Dublin street musician who's about to give up on his dream when a beautiful young woman takes a sudden interest in his haunting love songs. It's onstage at the Fox Theatre!
